This is the Red Wooly Model with Chonta Pegs. He has long soft red hair indigenous features and chonta (Amazonian hardwood originally used in the making of weapons) pegs closing his lips. The head was individually hand made from llama hide and hair by a talented craftsman using methods comparable to original tsantsa (head shrinking). Note the improved ears, very realistic! The head is about 5 inches tall, not including the hair and strings, and comes with a jute hanger for display. The real skin construction is very light, perfect for hanging!
